Local indicators for COVID-19, influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) remain low for week ending 10/21/2023, although RSV activity appears to be increasing based on local lab data.

1.7% of emergency department visits were attributable to COVID-19 and none to influenza. Kitsap sentinel reporting labs reported 54 positive COVID-19 tests, ten positive influenza tests (7 influenza A, 3 influenza B), and ten positive RSV tests.

At Kitsap long-term care facilities, there have been five COVID-19 outbreaks reported in the past four reporting weeks, and no influenza outbreaks.
