Local indicators for COVID-19, influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) remain low for week ending 10/28/2023.

1.0% of emergency department visits were attributable to COVID-19 and there were fewer than ten emergency department (ED) visits attributable to either influenza or RSV. Kitsap sentinel reporting labs reported 30 positive COVID-19 tests, three positive influenza tests (3 influenza A, 0 influenza B), and one positive RSV test. On average, fewer than ten hospital beds at St. Michael Medical Center were in use per day for COVID-19, influenza or RSV patients.

At Kitsap long-term care facilities (LTCFs), there have been four COVID-19 outbreaks reported in the past four reporting weeks, and no influenza outbreaks.
