Local indicators for COVID-19, influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) remain low for week ending 10/14/2023.
1.9% of emergency department visits were attributable to COVID-19 and 1.0% to influenza. Kitsap sentinel reporting labs reported 47 positive COVID-19 tests, four positive influenza tests (all influenza A), and two positive RSV tests.
At Kitsap long-term care facilities, there have been COVID-19 outbreaks reported in the past four reporting weeks, and no influenza outbreaks.
