In week ending on Feb. 3, local indicators for COVID-19, influenza and RSV were elevated. Indicators for influenza and RSV are declining, but remain above local baselines.

1.9% of emergency department (ED) visits were attributable to COVID-19, and fewer than 10 visits were attributable to RSV or to influenza. Kitsap sentinel reporting labs reported 81 positive COVID-19 tests (13.8% of specimens tested), 25 positive influenza tests (24 influenza A, 1 influenza B; 5.6% of specimens tested), and 13 positive RSV tests (5.7% of specimens tested).

On average, around 13 hospital beds at St. Michael Medical Center were in use per day for COVID-19 or influenza patients.

At Kitsap long-term care facilities, there have been six COVID-19 outbreaks reported in the past four reporting weeks, and two influenza outbreaks.
